Hi All greetings from Sunny Bergen, Norway (Anthony, a pint please)
We cycled successfully to newcastle and got completely drenched in lovely Yorkshire, but we made it to the ferry and spent much of the 24 hour ride a little drunk - great cabaret though!
We start riding for real on Saturday (tomorrow), and we have to cycle up onto the Hardanger Plateau which is at 1250meters, so just a verical kilometer plus. No problems. (gulp, the peak district was bad enough)
It's nice and sunny here, and this keyboard is norwegian (funnily enough) I keep getting weird characters such as æ and ? and å. Wierd huh.
Eating lots of fish and dodgy norweigan cheese, and spending stupid amounts of cash on cans of coke (1.50ukp). Soon we'll be in the cheap east.
Good to notice that Cerbernet are as excellent as ever!
The Leatherman SuperTool (less of the jokes please) is totally superb, and has infact already been indispenable, I kid you not. Just today I used the knife to cut a strap off, and it was so sharp that I thought back to the pub where we where playing with it, and am kinda wonderous that we all have fingers still! many thanks for the SuperTool, and how very aptly named it is.
best regards to all, Tom Moreton
