hello...
well we have made it to sunny Gothenburg or Göteburg as they call it here. it was a pretty tiring trip across norway, where the scenery was as spectacular as the prices were. we ate bread cheese and salami all the way accross. we crossed the Hardanger plateau at 1250m high, which was gorgeous but exhausting. sweden has been a bit flatter and a little cheaper, we even eat out every now and then. tomorrow we head for copenhagen should take about 4 days. the film is coming along ok. there was a big landslide in norway and the only road thru was closed for 4 days, but the policeman let us carry our bikés over it. a good job, or we would be stuck. have had a fair bit of rain, and it's a bit cold!! we should have started further south!!!
well so far we have gone 899.8 miles, so we're not quite a quarter way through yet. our catchphrase has become.. "when we get to poland we will....", because then we can afford some luxuries!!! no injuries as yet. tom has had 7 (ha ha) punctures, i got my first one yesterday!!!
well, gotta dash this is costing a days food!!!! today is midsummer weeknd, and sweden is closed!!! we found some crap swedish beer that costs 20p a can!!! it's only 2.8% alcohol, but hey 20p a can!!!! more from Berlin, or maybe poland!!!!
